I am a mini-sniffle...
No birthday today...well at least, not one that I know of...
I'm so lucky
I actually leave a little earlier for work than usual...and what do you know...just my luck...BAM...traffic. And I mean TRAFFIC. I was at a dead stop for a few minutes and then I was at a crawl for the next 15. What is usually about a 20-25 min drive ended up being 45 freakin minutes. But thank heavens I have an awesome senior manager. I called in to tell him what was going on and he was all, "Please don't rush." He got into a pretty bad dinger a few weeks ago and really stresses us to be cautious when out on the road and that we should "never rush." When I got in, he asked if I was okay and told me he was glad I got in safely...what a cool guy.
So I'm having trouble finding a moonbounce thingy for London's party...so far, the smallest one available is 15' x 15' and the only spot where there is that much room would lead to the moonbounce completely blocking the driveway all the way up to the porch steps. So basically, people would have to go THROUGH the moonbounce to get to the party...but that would be pretty funny.
One's friends can never cease to surprise you. Today, I was on my way to work and on the phone and my friend was telling me how I always seem to understand things and I thought...wow. To me, that was some compliment. I mean, I don't really believe it to be true most of the time, but that's the way that she saw it...and I was glad that I help make her feel understood.
Appreciations
-unintentional compliments
-pictures(they speak loads)
-sincerity
-cool bosses
